The DDS quality control system has a long tradition. Our first formalised procedures according to AD-W0/TRD100 date back to the eighties. Very soon the then used ISO 9002 came along. Without big changes both requirements fitted perfectly to the quality control system we already applied. In the course of the years, we kept on developing it further, integrated it into and made it a part of our production. For example; the growing files for the electronic organisation of testing equipment and controlling were made accessible for preparatory work – the right method to avoid mistakes when thread tolerances are transcribed.
At the moment, we are certified for ISO 9001:2008. The changeover to ISO 9001:2015 will take place this year.
Not only in the case of quality assurance tests on parts requiring approval there is a demand and call for experience, classic testing instruments and state-of-the-art equipment.
On request, we can provide you with an acceptance test certificate in accordance with EN10204 for each delivery, thus ensuring that you can trace your goods from the finished part back to the melt without any gaps.
3.2 Acceptance test certificate
We work together with all common inspection companies in order to be able to deliver your goods with inspection certificate 3.2 according to EN 10204 on request.
In addition to the TÜV, these include companies such as DNV GL, BV, ABS, LR and many more.
Sustainability as a quality feature
Since the expansion of our production halls in 2008, we have operated one of the largest photovoltaic plants in the city of Remscheid.
In this process, we have completely converted our energy supply to green electricity and use economical LED lighting throughout the company to ensure that we do not consume more resources than necessary.
Because in our opinion, this is also a quality feature.
